About these terms

These terms apply when you use boltrevision.com or purchase a Bolt Revision digital product. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian to review them and agree to the purchase where required.

Products and orders

We sell digital revision resources, including Anki flashcard decks and supporting guides. Please check the subject, qualification, exam board and specification code before ordering. Prices and the contents of each product are shown on the relevant product page.

We may refuse or cancel an order where payment is not authorised, fraud is suspected, a price or product description is clearly incorrect, or we cannot supply the product. If we cancel an order after payment, we will refund the amount paid.

Delivery and access

Digital products are delivered electronically using the download link provided after purchase and in the delivery email. No physical item is shipped. You are responsible for providing a working email address and downloading the files to a device you control.

Personal licence

Each purchase gives the customer a personal licence to use the files for their own study. The licence is not transferable. You must not copy, share, upload, publish, resell, distribute or give the files or download link to another person. Schools, tutors and organisations need written permission or a suitable licence before distributing the materials to learners.

Anki and third party services

Anki is required to use the flashcard decks. Anki and Shopify are third party services and are governed by their own terms and privacy notices. Bolt Revision is not responsible for changes, outages or device limitations caused by third party services, although we will provide reasonable help with our files.

Educational use and exam boards

Bolt Revision resources are designed to support revision and exam preparation. They do not guarantee a particular grade or result. Bolt Revision is independent and is not endorsed by or affiliated with any exam board. Exam board names and specification codes are used only to identify the relevant course.

Intellectual property

The product files, original questions, explanations, diagrams, design and branding are owned by Bolt Revision or used with permission. Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of that intellectual property.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to that, Bolt Revision is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the order was made or for business losses arising from personal use of the products.

Changes

We may update these terms to reflect changes to our products, services or legal obligations. The terms that applied when you placed your order will continue to govern that order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory consumer protections and may be able to bring proceedings in your local courts.
